Puesto joins the growing roster of tenants opening soon at Santa Clara Square Marketplace
The upscale Mexican concept from San Diego is set to open its first Bay Area outpost
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – (July 20, 2016) – Puesto, San Diego’s taco hot spot serving modern Mexican cuisine, will open its first Bay Area location in summer 2017 at Santa Clara Square Marketplace, located off of Highway 101 and Bowers Avenue, further expanding the dining options at the specialty center.
Run by Tacoteurs Eric and Alan Adler alongside their cousin Isidoro Lombrozo, Puesto is known for its Mexico City-style tacos made with crispy melted cheese, house-made tortillas and from-scratch salsas courtesy of Partner/Executive Chef Luisteen Gonzalez. Using locally sourced ingredients, unique dishes and vibrant interior design, Puesto provides a fresh, contemporary and approachable take on authentic Mexican cuisine.

Puesto will join the center’s anchor tenant, Whole Foods Market, opening July 26, along with Books Inc., COMEBUY Drinks, CorePower Yoga, Lula’s Chocolates, Specialty’s Café and Bakery and Sur La Table. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Il Fornaioand Opa! will kick off the second wave openings in spring and summer 2017.
Puesto will be located at Santa Clara Square Marketplace at 2752 Augustine Drive, Suite 110.
